Leadership...Teamwork...Synergy...and bla bla bla...
What are all these when there's a weaker link in the group?...and I mean REALLY weak. The Weaker Link (WL) in my assignment group (guess it's not too nice to name name) gives trouble...makes my head spin! Typical Malaysian, WL loves to copy & paste (plagiarism...and think piracy) + has really frustrating attitude. She loves calling freakin' early in the morning and crazy late at night...to verify stuffs it seems. Everyone just really don't like her...talk about her behind her back. It's just so hard to work with her. so, there goes Teamwork and Synergy and all...
As a leader, it's just even harder. I try hard to exert leadership when working with the group but when WL makes trouble, she really cramps my style...showing the weaker side of my leadership. And I hate it!...Should we remove her the hard way (there really isn't a soft way for something like this, is there?) or should we keep her and do the nurturing thing great leaders would do?...

Emm...there's really quite a lot happening around lately but I just can't seem to be able to put them into words and hence my crappy uninteresting posts. So I've decided to keep the crappiness to myself for now and share some photos instead. It's from the trip to Genting Highlands (last crappy post)...

It was quite a weekend...emm, quite a Saturday to be exact. I went for a trip to our mini Las Vegas-like Genting Highlands with housemates and some friends. Mini Las Vegas has quite excellent theme parks (indoor & outdoor), casinos, hotels, shopping mall, club, bla bla bla and definitely less sins. It's situated up a hill...so it has cool climate, fresh air and all.

We spent the day at the theme park...recreating some childhood memories with some really childish rides eg. Merry-Go-Round, Flying Jumbo (not sure what's the real name, but that's what we call it though). Other than that, we also took some more nerve-wrecking rides such as Cyclone and Corkscrew (both are just like rollercoaster, only smaller and bigger respectively).

Aaarrrgh...

This morning I opened up my eyes feeling a little unusual about my eyes. "Oh...It's probably one of those tired puffy eyes you get in mornings"...I thought. So, I got my mirror and I got a shock because I've got not just 'tired puffy' eyes but crazy red vampires' eyes. Aaaarrghh!!!...

I sat quietly thinking of what to do. I've got class I can't skip and on the other hand, I've these two red watery eyeballs so scary my friends are gonna run away.

So reluctantly, I went to the doc. Okay, it's official that I got Conjunctivitis...quite a relief. Just about 6 months back, a friend...a contact lens user just like me, had a terrible condition with her eyes. It's her unsuitable contact lens...and so something happened to her cornea. She couldn't see a thing for quite a while. She was in hospital for about 2 weeks. Now, she's okay...but with still not fully-recovered eyes and of course, no more contact lens for her. Poor thing...

Got an MC from the doc...so stayed home from class instead. I've pills for the itchy-ness and eyedrops I need to use every 2 hours and a slimy, gel-ish, yellow-ish ointment I'm supposed to apply on my eyeballs at bedtime. Eeewwww...

Uuuugh...I'm so bloody upset because England just lost out to Portugal. Again the penalty shoot-out. Sigh...Only god knows what happened to Lamps and Stevie. They kicked the ball like shit. Beckham went off with an injured foot and Rooney got sent off with a red card. He really didn't do anything terrible except that he sort of kicked/stepped on some fella's weenie...only by accident though. And i think his so-called MU teammate played a nice part in getting him sent off...And yes, I mean C. Ronaldo. I've always liked him but I think he's an awful ass now.

On the way home after the game, it's pretty obvious just about eveyone is upset. It's kinda like a norm that us Malaysians here supports England (in football) like they are part of us.

Hahaha...I'm going to need to surf some porn sites for an assignment...a legit assignment by the way. And it's for morale studies. How ironic. Well...it's not going to be my first time though. I've been there by accidents and sometimes by purpose (curiousity) with friends. Nothing interesting so far. But I'm really not sure...I need to include some of those photos in the assignment so there has got to be some censorships here and there, rite?

Anyway, I'm freakin' hungry now...It's about 5.15pm now and I've yet to take breakfast. Arrrgh...But I'm gonna go take a sweet nap first. Hehe...

My old blog is so dysfunctional I can't look at it. Disappointed with myself...again!!! Anyway, a new start here. I'm gonna embrace this NEW BEGINNING. Hahaha...

I was reading an old friend's blog on friendster today. He was telling some stories about our primary school days...a time when I was most distant from what I'm like now. I was quiet, an outcast in short. I never knew primary school was so fun to the 'others'. For me, it was disaster...I was lonely with only few friends. But it's funny how ironic it was...I lost total contact with these only few friends I had then after I got to secondary school. But the 'others' and a few others became my good friends whom I had some crazy, fun and lovely moments with. Now that we've gone separate ways and gotten busy and moving on with lives and all...it's harder than ever to keep up with each other. But these people remain as very important peoples in my life.
